IAABO Board 173 is the Greater St. Louis / St. Charles chapter of the International Association of Approved Basketball Officials (IAABO), the preeminent basketball officials association.

IAABO is dedicated to education, training and the development of officials, to maintaining the highest standards of officiating, and to encourage the spirit of fair play and sportsmanship.

IAABO officials in St. Louis attend a series of educational meetings throughout the year and participate in a week-long, hands-on training camp each June. Many St. Louis area high schools contract with IAABO to provide well-trained and highly professional officials.
