The IAABO Scholarship Committee was formed in 2005, as IAABO members were in search of a way to give back to the community and began raising funds that first year. In 2008, we combined with the International Association of Football Officials (IAFO). Since the first scholarships were awarded for the 2006-2007 school year, IAABO and IAFO members have raised and awarded over $100,000 in scholarships, through 2010-11.

The scholarship fund solicits donations and hold fund raisers, the largest of which is our Annual Golf Tournament held in late June.

As part of its charitable activities, the Association's board established these scholarships in order to support the young men and women in the schools we officiate, as they pursue their higher education.

A copy of the application for the 2011-12 school year is available below and must be completed by April 1, 2012.
